Our Story

How we got here

The beginning · 2021

It started with a swipe.

Justin opened with a joke about an egg roll food tour and, after a few messages, came up empty.

He tried again, this time with real plans. A few dates later, Loki approved, and that was that.

The Philly years

We love the big trips. We love the small stuff more.

We pack these years with adventures out west, winters in Florida, and summers down the shore.

Most days are quieter, and full of small ways of looking out for each other:

  • Coffee dropped off mid-meeting
  • Soup on the stove at the first sniffle
  • Pack walks led by Loki

The proposal · October 2025

Leah crossed the finish line of her second marathon in Washington, DC. That same night, we whisked her onto a flight to Portugal.

After a few slow days in Lisbon, we landed in Israel for our first trip there together. Leah didn't know that two brothers and a rabbi were on their way, too.

In a quiet park in Jerusalem, Justin popped the question. She said yes!

That night we made the happy phone calls, stopped at the Western Wall, and had dinner, just the two of us.

Then we made one more stop, for one more surprise Leah never expected, and a few more happy tears.

    Our first date

    Tuna Bar, Old City

    A roll of sushi, a bottle of sake, and a conversation neither of us wanted to end.

  2. June 2021 · Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia

  5. October 2022 · Citizens Bank Park

    Red October

    We moved in together

  10. March 2025 · Poland

    March of the Living

  11. October 2025

    She said yes

    Jerusalem

    After Leah's second marathon and a few days in Lisbon, Justin asked in the city that means the most to us.

  12. October 2025 · Voorhees, New Jersey

    We bought our first house
